Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa
This luxurious Eco lodge is located in a thirty acre lush rainforest valley in Daintree National Park, 90-minute drive from Cairns. It has only fifteen individual ecologically friendly tree houses set among the canopy.
The lodge is run in partnership with the local Kuku Yalanji tribe and there are many opportunities to interact with the aboriginals tribes.

We love:
Getting pampered with the Walbul Walbul treatment at the spa and going on the Aboriginal rainforest walk.
Eco Friendly Highlights:
Daintree Eco Lodge was established under strict guideline of WWF with total respect for the fragile rainforest environment.
The total water supply is from Daintree spring water originating from the waterfall area of the property. It is naturally filtered through natural rock and is pumped by bore to a header tank for guest and operation usage.
This eco lodge uses biodegradable cleaning agent. The whole waste system is a tertiary treated Bi-O-Cycle system which allows recycled water to irrigate the gardens and vegetation. This eco resort source food locally and with seasonal specials featuring on the menu. The menu is designed as innovative tropical cuisine with a hint of native bush tucker. The Ingredients seen growing on the property during the interpretive walk to the waterfall are actually used in the organic spa product range and also feature in the cuisine.
